I would like a formula to extract the month and full year after "to" in the text below

Trial Balance : 01/09/19 to 31/08/20 - Last Year

It should be August 2020

It would be appreciated if someone could assist me

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
=MID(A2,FIND("to",A2,1)+3,8)*1
Assumes that the date format is always 8 characters and has leading zeros
Then you can format that cell as MONTH & YEAR = MMMM YYYY

so you can still use the cell as a date
IF you just want TEXT output
=TEXT(MID(A2,FIND("to",A2,1)+3,8)*1,"MMMM YYYY")
BUT you will not longer use that cell as a date for any manipulation
