I have a formula as such: =A2&"-"&B2&"-"&C2

A2 = 21552
B2 = CH
C2 = 007 (Custom Formatted: 000)

The formula output is 21552-CH-7, instead of the expected result of 21552-CH-007. Is there a better way to manage this? Thanks!

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
You can use the TEXT function:

=A2&"-"&B2&"-"&TEXT(C2,"000")

@sreevignesh

How would that help, or even work, with a formula?
