I have a spreadsheet called BR1 that contains old account numbers in Col A for eg 3000, 3101 etc

I have another spreadsheet caleed N_MAN that contains the old account numbers in Col F and the new account number equivalent in Col G

I would like a formula in Col B on workfile BR1 that will compare the account number in Col A
to the account number in Col F in N_MAN and where there is a match, then to extract the account number to the right of it in Col G

Your assistance in this regard will be most appreciated

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

Try in B2 (change the cell references to match your data)

Code:
=VLOOKUP(A2,N_MAN!F:G,2,0)
