The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).

What should the answer be ?
Should it be 1,086,802, being the sum of entries in column G that say Imran in column A ?
I.e. 100,000 + 493401 + 493,401 ?

Is L17 a fixed cell where you will sum things up? Then you could write this formula in L17:

=SUMIF(A:A;L16;G:G)

where:
A:A - is a range for criteria lookup. In this example it would be Imran
L16 - a cell where you could type a value you want to sum by. In this case it would be: Imran
G:G - is actually a column which will be sumed up based on a cells found by excel in range A:A

In that case I think nardagus's suggestion will give you that.
