Formula to return cell value until blank cell appears

Hi,

I would to return the cell above the first BLANK CELL.

In the example, i would like to return "13/12/2014"

my data is as follows

10/12/2014
11/12/2014
12/12/2014
13/12/2014
(BLANK CELL)
01/01/2015
02/01/2015
(BLANK CELL)

Appreciate the help

in column B you could just do... IF(ISBLANK(A2)=TRUE,A1,"") and drag that down

Sorry I don't understand what your trying to say..

Column A - This contains a formula to return a date? and this will either return a date or blank?
