I have dates in Col f. If the min Date returned contains Sep in Z1 for eg Sep-2020, then Oct-2020 to be returned

the min date should always be oct followed by the year

it would be appreciated if someone can assist me

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Does it matter which day it is?

Excel Formula:
=DATE(YEAR(MIN(F2:F100)),10,1)
