What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.

Hi ChrisA:

I am going to assume the values are all in numeric and the column is A ...

=INDEX(A:A,MATCH(9.99999999999999E+307,A:A))
