Could some one help me with a formula?
If Column [AMOUNT] starts with a negative "-" then show the negative sign "-" else show "0" (Zero). I would like to place this in a new column.

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
If you are truly talking about Access, then I think you mean you want to put this in a new Field in a Query.

If it is a numeric entry, then you should be able to use this:
Expr1: IIF([AMOUNT]<0,[AMOUNT],0)
