Formula with no result

dear all

sometime when i try to enter a formula and after i press enter i do not get any result, instead it will only be showing the formula i typed.
if i type the formula in another column it will work.
what i normaly do is to close the workbook and re open .

what could be the reason ?

please advise.

Check the format of the cell, make sure it is not Text.

Also you could find and replace...

Find =
Replace with =

Try this:

Note: I will use my example for reference.

Select the cell C1

Then, select Clear All in the Home tab/group Edition

Now, type the formula again (=IF(A1>0,1,0) in my example)
