I have a basic question that I can't seem to find the answer to....

I have two spreadsheets. The first spreadsheet is used by one member of a department. The second spreadsheet is used by the rest of the department. We have the second sheet set up using formulas to mirror the first sheet (so sheet 2 cell A1 indicates "=Sheet1!A1"). However, there are times where we would like to change the font color of the text on the first sheet or make the text bold but cannot seem to get the second sheet to pickup the fonts.

Any suggestions?

Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
A formula would not pick up fonts or background colors. You would need to use VBA to accomplish this, but could get complicated depending on the circumstances.
