I have 3 worksheets in a workbook. Sheet A contains a number in a column cell # k47 52545. Sheet B contains that same number in a row and 12 places to the right contains the value I am looking for. How do I get that value placed in sheet A cell # x47 I am looking for a formula

Saying just "Column M" again doesn't help. Please describe exactly how your data is laid out.

I have 3 worksheets in one. ItemReportByCategory1,Newpurchace,and Acctsummary.
Newpurchase sheet contains in column k the number 52545 in cell # k47 which is the item # for Beef. I want the price per pound which is contained in ItemreportByCatagory sheet. This sheet also has the matching # 52545 in cell a7. At the end of this row in M7 is the value I am seeking. I want to place it in cell # X47.I hope this is a better info

Much better. Place the following formula into X47:

=INDEX(ItemReportByCategory1!M:M,MATCH(K47,ItemReportByCategory1!A:A,0))
