I have formulas in a spreadsheet on a xp machine. When I move to another computer they will not run. Since when created it puts the computer name in the formula. Is there a way to copy to another computer and still have them run? We are also in the process of upgrading and renaming PC’s below is an example. Circ011 is PC name.

=+'\\circ011\C\Excel Files\Press Run Information\[Press Run Data.xls]WEDNESDAY'!$M$1

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Your formula is linking to a spreadsheet which is stored on the C Drive of your PC. Move the source document to a shared drive, then it will be accessible to all users.
