The default setting, it turns out, was red. Don't know why. I just want folks to know I was not intentionally trying to stand out - it was the second time I had posted the item.... each time in red. Sorry.

don't know for sure what you mean here
it's just your posts on your computer when you're logged in which turn red
this kind of posts has to be done in the "about this board" forum which you will find in the "forumlist" at http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/index.php
