fractions and decimal addition

b2 is actually 117 22/32

What I am trying to do is convert the fractional part to a decimal

then add in a decimal number.

1.22
.8
.2

or take away the decimal number

then convert back to fractional

I am in a right mess and using trunc and integer i dont know if my figures are correct#

You can get the value of B2 as a decimal number, using:

=DOLLARDE(B2,32)
