Hello Everyone,

(Excel 2000-2003)

I originally was looking for a way to accomplish this without any additional utilities but was unsuccessful.
http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-...-paste-etc-function-keys-f1-f12-globally.html
If anyone has any ideas to share for this please post them in the above link.

Anyways, I am rather new to the concept, but I have discovered that Excel offers the ability for its users to be able to create "addins" to alter its abilities. I was wondering if anyone knows of a free addin that would allow you to setup custom hotkeys for already existing tools (not Macros) within Excel and even override existing hotkeys already setup?

For Example:
Ctrl + S = Add New Row Tool (Instead of Save)
F4 = Paste Tool

As mentioned above, not Macros, but actual Excel tool actions so they can be undone with the "undo" tool.

I am aware that there are a couple of programs that can run outside of Excel and other programs and allow you to setup hotkeys with different programs, I believe one of the is called Autokey. I am not looking for something like this, but an actual "addin" built for Excel specifically.

I would imagine nothing like this exists, especially free, but if anyone knows of anything like what I am looking for above please let me know.

Thank You to anyone who reads this.
