Hi guys - numptie here again...

I've got a club membership and payments spreadsheet which works its way down the screen as the year goes on. The column headings stretch over five rows as there's more data there than just a title; I'd like to be able to freeze those five rows but the 'Freeze' options only offer 'Freeze First Row' and 'Freeze First Column'. There is a third option, 'Freeze Pane' and I suspect that would do what I want, but for the life of me i can't see how to define rows 1 - 5 as a pane. Can anybody put me out of my misery please?

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
use Freeze Panes

select cell in row 6 and column what you want then use Freeze Panes

Solution
Suggestion. Highlight the last row you need to see all the time (Row 6 should be selected as the freeze pane will be applied above the selected Row) then go to the View Tab and Freeze Panes then select Freeze Pane.
