Hello,

I have a problem I have been stuck on for a while.

I have a matrix of information in Excel, but I need to convert it to a list, with one of the columns having every combination of the column and row headings and the other column as the number from the matrix that corresponds to the column and row heading.

Not sure if this is clear - please tell me if it is not.

If anyone has any ideas would be much appreciated.

Henry

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
So if I had the following matrix:

E F G
A 1 2 3
B 4 5 6
C 7 8 9
D 10 11 12

I would want to convert it to:

AE 1
AF 2
AG 3
BE 4
BF 5
BG 6
CE 7
CF 8
CG 9
DE 10
DF 11
DG 12
