from columns to matrix

Hello

I have 3 columns 1(polymers); 2(density); 3(values)
It is possible to make from 3 columns something like this
_________density1___density2____density3 etc
(polymer1) __val1______val2________val3
(polymer2) __val1______val2________val3
(polymer3) __val1______val2________val3

to make an matrix :)

I tried pivot table..but that only counts the values ..not write the value

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Try a pivot table again, but change the field setting (I think) from COUNT to something like MAX. I'm assuming you have only one single value for each combination of polymer and density.
