from openoffcie to excel

dear all

i received an open offciefile that has about 128000 rows. how can i open this file using excel.

i use to do Save As when the number of rows is less than 65000 rows.

What error message are you receiving as your signature says you are using Excel 2010 which has over 1 million rows?

You can upload your workbook/file to Box Net,
sensitive data scrubbed/removed/changed
mark the workbook for sharing
and provide us with a link to your workbook.

i am not receiving any error it only copying 65000 row form the 128000

I take it that Openoffice still only supports xls and not xlsx extension . If that is the case then the options are limited. If you don`t have a formulas then saving to csv then opening in Excel might be an option

I am having trouble with the file.

Could you open/import the openoffice file into excel and save the workbook. And, then post the workbook on Box?

I couldn't see any formula and so it appears to be fine saving as a CSV
