Hi all,

I am struggling with a basic IF formula for some reason.

I'd like excel to check the number in a specific cell, if it is between +2500 and -2500, then return "OK", otherwise "not OK".

Say the number is is A1

=IF(ABS(A1)<=2500,"OK","not OK")

You could also reverse the logic and check for the "not OK"

This is useful in case your numbers are not exactly the same negative and positve

=IF(OR(A1<-2500,A1>2500),"not OK","OK")
