I have an Excel file with a data worksheet, a Pivot Table worksheet and a worksheet for the results..........

My data worksheet has frozen.......I can go across the page, but not down? Enter, scrolling or the mouse are not working, yet working fine on the other two worksheets?

Any clues why? I really want to go back to my original information to check something and the page is not working at all?

Hi Lynne
I'd suggest you need to close Excel and restart...Is the hourglass showing, or simply locked up.
You haven't accidently pressed the Scrol Lock Key have you ??
You in Broken Hill ??...or not that far out.

No, I have no timepiece, but that's what its like........but only on the one worksheet out of 3 in the file.......

I've shut the file and restarted it before I posted (that's my answer to most things) and that didn't work either.......

Yep, I'm in lovely downtown Broken Hill..........

Can you copy the sheet to another workbook....sounds very much like it's dodgy.
Open up another workbook side by side with the one you have open
Hold down CTRL and click and drag the sheet to the new workbook.
See if that "unfreezes"
Also, look to see if there is a cell still active

Also, have a look for frozen panes.
In 2003 or earlier, Window / Unfreeze Panes
