hi
is there a way to have full screen on a workbook rather than the whole application?

How about having Application.DisplayFullScreen = True in the workbook events open and activate and then switch to false with the events close and deactivate?

Oh another question, can the excel icon on a workbook be customised? also the icon on the work sheet menubar?

Personally, I'm not sure about how to go about changing the icons. However, I think this has been covered before - have you tried doing a search?
