I am looking for a function that will allow me in the event that a cell contains a number say 1030 I want it to copy that entire line to another sheet. Any Ideas?

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Welcome to the board.
Are you looking for a macro (code) or do you really mean a "function"?
Where will this value "1030" come in your data. ie, in a particular column or so.?
please post details.

Hmm..does this need to be automated?
Easy way is just to use auto-filter and select that criteria then select and copy/paste rows to the other sheet.

function

It may need to be a macro code.
It is a spreadsheet that I fill out weekly for a log of work orders and the number is going to refer to a specific piece of equipment and will be in a dedicated column for the equipment numbers but I am wanting to pull some of these numbers from the spreadsheet and move them to another for tracking. I could cut and paste but I would like to find out how to automate the process.
