I have a report that dumps processing times into an excel sheet. The trouble im having is that the format that our time tracker uses is pretty difficult to read....it formats processing times into whole hours then by fractions of an hour so 2.631666 would translate into 2 hours 37.9 min. (.631666*60=37.9)

For each time entry I have to manually multiply the fraction of an hour by 60 to get the minutes and then add it the hours to get the final total.

Question: Is there a way to format exel to read this and translate it into a more readable format....

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
To convert your number to time:
Divide 2.63166 by 24 and format cell as time.
