Good morning, this is my first post and it is a similar question to Peter's on the separation of data.
I have a string of numbers (ISBN codes) and I want to pull out only 3 of them into a new column - in the number below it would be the ones in quotes. The numbers may be of differing lengths but it will always be the last 3 but one digits - the final complication is that the last figure may be either a number or letter. I hope this makes sense. Grateful for any help.
