Hi, I came across this template for making GANTT charts:

Gantt project planner - Templates

which is really nice, and useful. However, there are a few tweaks I'd like to make but I can't really see how it works! I'm assuming it's done through conditional formatting - but I can't see how the sheet knows which cells to highlight (how it links to the figures in column C,D,E,F,G). Not sure if this makes sense, but if it's really obvious to somebody, and you had a couple of minutes to explain it to me - I'd really appreciate it!

Many thanks in advance

Rich

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Upon a very quick review, it appears the formulas are all housed within names created in the name manager. The conditional formatting then calls these "Names" for the values it's looking for. Hope this helps get you started.
