Hi,

Suppose I have values 8, 10 and 5 in cells A1 to A3 and values 3, 2 and 1 in cells B1 to B3. What should be the formula in cells C1 to c3 so that values 5, 10 and 8 are shown.

Mathematically, in cell C1, I am looking for an equation to do the equivalent of =A(B1) which is not valid in excel.

Thank you for the help.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Not clear what you are trying to do.

For instance, are you trying to return the value in a1, if it is greater than the value in b1?
