Hi,

I have a problem with General format of cells.
I have some files that I sent to some colleagues and once I open them all cells in General format were showing like currency format (13.4 in a general format cell, now appeare like 13.40$)

I did not find where to configure this general format in excel option. How to change that ? in Windows ? by VBA?

thanks

Not everything I do at work revolves around Excel. Only the fun parts.
Select a cell with the dollar, right click check the format, see if your colleagues have changed them.

Or could this be "locale" related?
Check under Windows Control panel.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. After more investigation I suspect that my accounting dpt, by using others excel files with macro have one that transform General formatted cells into Currency format cells and the macro seems not well designed because affect all worksheets. So it seems to be only my local problem.
I will try to make a reverse on my VBA...
