I am a bit new to creating a calculated field in a PV Table so I am not sure of all the restrictions. I have noticed that when creating a calculated field the default is sum of "your filed" and selecting different options does not change the value.

What I need to display or calculate is one field divided by another in the form of a percentage. = (field 1/field 2) = X%
Now I can also create this calculation directly in Business objects but then the PV wont display it in the form I need which is the value section.

If I create a calculated field in the PV table and use this new field in the values section the result is slightly off from the correct value. Ex the result comes back as 86.92% where the true value is 85.12%.

Is there an option I am missing when creating a calculated field that yields a percentage value in a PV Table? Or are there any restrictions in calculating percentages?

Any other suggestion on how to solve this is appreciated.

thank you
