Generate Alert to Google Calendar from an excel

hello all,

I was wonderng if it is possible to generate a Google Calendar alerts when a date from a an excel file (local) or google spreadsheet is due to expire. Can this be done with VBA?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.

Just to clarify, as my post above says, it is not against our rules (or the rules at OzGrid) to cross-post. It is just that if you do we like to know about those cross-posts.
The reason for that is set out in the ExcelGuru page that is linked at the end of rule #13. I hope that you took the opportunity to have a read of that.
