Get data from coordinate

Hi
Can anyone help me with a formula to look for the number in a particular coordinate?By getting the number in 4th column, 5th row of $C2
i'm using =IFERROR(IF(MATCH($C2,Dec!$C:$C,0),"confirm",),"") to look for an entry.
can i still use this formula to look for that number? =IFERROR(IF(MATCH($C2,Dec!$C:$C,0),GET THAT NUMBER,),"")
formula should be dynamic $C2 could jump to C8, C14...

Try using INDEX.

For example, to get the value from the row in column H.

=IFERROR(INDEX(H:H,C,MATCH($C2,Dec!$C:$C,0)),"")

I copy this format with 1 row apart. the formula change accordingly
continue copying as many as i need. all spreadsheets are identical
let's just say I have two spreadsheet, dec and jan (revised for this illustration)
Jan will look at dec column A for duplicate name (like AAA) and give back 200 in Jan C4

3			C3=IFERROR(IF(MATCH($A1,Dec!$A:$A,0),"Dec"),"")
4			=Dec B104 if greater than zero
