Hi,

I vaguely recall that this is possible. For example I have the following formula:

=SUM(MYRANGE)

where MYRANGE is the name of some named range.
Now, I want to be able to pull this word("MYRANGE") from another cell, say A1. What is the formula that would fit the ??? below:

=SUM(???(A1))

Thank you in advanced.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.

If MYRANGE is not a dynamic named range...

=SUM(INDIRECT(A1))

Otherwise, you'll need something like:

=SUM(EVAL(A1))

where a function (EVAL) from the morefunc.xll add-in is used.
