Get next anniversary from day and month

I'm trying to get the net anniversary from a day and month which is formatted as text like this: 23/07.

So what I'd expect as a result is 23/07/2023.

Equally, if the source is 28/01 then I'd expect 28/01/2024 as a result.

I don't mind if this is achieved by formula or VBA - can anyone suggest something?
