Get Pivot Tabel query

Hi

Is there an option to enable the Getpivotdata formula

When i try to link to any pivot table in Excel 2007 i just get a range now, e.g. i will just get a formula that would be

=D6

instead of the getpivotdata

Hi - you can switch this on by going to Excel Options / Formulas. And in the section 'Working with Formulas' there is an option to switch on

Its in Excel options under formuals and "Use GetPivotData functions for pivot table references"
