Get rid of zeros

I am using a formula that references and returns the value of another cell. My problem is when the cell I'm referencing equals "" the formula returns 0, not "". How can I fix this?

Also check out the ISBLANK function in the xl help which can be used in a similar way to the formula Wayne L. supplied

You might also want to go to Tools>Options - View tab and uncheck the 'Zero values' box also
