Hi All

i have created a saved import which i use in code to run each day....

the problem i have is that 1 of the column names has changed...If i just change the column name in the table it comes with an error that search keyword not found...

How can i change the saved import column name easily?

if i re import it i have to change several of data types etc and its a ball ache - i just literally want to change the column header name and for it to work as normal

can you please advise the best way to get around this

im using access 2016 and on 365 if that helps

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
It's what I expected to find but wanted to check before saying you have to recreate but here it is

Notes:
  • You cannot edit other settings that are saved as part of the specification, such as the name of the worksheet or named range, data types of fields, and the source or destination table.

So i have to recreate :(

i would have thought there would be an option to change but thank you for confirming

so what is an easier way to do?

recreate
Change all types
Append to table

C) put the column name back to what it was?
or see post 4 here and maybe you can alter the system tables. I'd back up the db first in case it goes wrong.
