Hi guys,

I just confused myself and everyone here but I didn't know how to put a nice title for my problem

I used an INDEX(array, row, column) in cell A1 in sheet1 to get the value of cell B1 in sheet2

the problem is when I did that for many cells (thousands) it slow my pc heavily, take about 1 min to load

so is there anyway to get the value of cell B2 in sheet2 without using INDEX(array,row+1,column) again, I tried INDIRRECT() but it didn't work

I think it would save me a lot of time since there're many less INDEX() to be used

thank you very much

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
I would say INDIRECT is slower than INDEX.
Maybe you could use use VBA to transfer values?
