Getting a date while using Concatenate

All,
I have the following formula that calculates the beginning of the month and the end of the month with a dash in between for invoicing purposes:

=CONCATENATE(EOMONTH(TODAY(),-1)+1,"-",EOMONTH(TODAY(),0))

This works and gives me the correct results in this format:
44105-44135

I want to be able to put this in the "mm/dd/yyyy" format but I can't since it also has text in it. Is there a way to print the dates with the dash in the middle after the beginning of the month and end of the month is calculated?

=CONCATENATE(TEXT(EOMONTH(TODAY(),-1)+1,"mm/dd/yyyy"),"-",TEXT(EOMONTH(TODAY(),0),"mm/dd/yyyy"))
