Hi all,

I wonder if you are able to lend a hand? I am sure it is probably very simple but i cannot for the life of me find/remember it

In a spreadsheet I would like columns A & B to remain static or fixed while I scroll across the other columns. ie. when I am in column J or K I still want to see A & B fixed as a reference.

Does this make sense? I cannot think of any better way to describe it...

Thanks,

Bytey

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hello and welcome to the board,

Put your cursor in C1 and select WINDOW and FREEZE PANES.

Or

to the right of the horizontal scroll bar is a small vertical line, drag this over to between Columns B & C (with the cursor on the screen, it should snap to the gridlines.
