Hi

My scenario is that i need to get the concatenated values from cell A1 to G1 in a row (values are strings). The purpose is to insert those values in to db. Is der any excel function for that. Or i hav to use user defined function for that.

Please help me

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
=A1&","&B1&","&C1&","&D1&","&E1&","&F1&","&G1

or see CONCATENATE function

=CONCATENATE(A1,",",B1,",",C1,",",D1,",",E1,",",F1,",",G1)

obviously change "," to another delimiter if so desired.

Alas not without a custom function - either building yourself or using an additional add-in such as MOREFUNC.xla (which has MCONCAT function)
