I have piece of software that creates an excel workbook when data is input into software. I can set this software to update this excel document at set intervals.

I am trying, without very much success at the minute, to set up a new excel workbook to get all data from worksheet within this workbook, also in regular intervals.

I can locate to it fine, with normal formulas, but can not get the data to refresh for me. Any ideas??

Have figured it out in Office 07 for windows, using workbook connections which works great and exactly what I want to do ... but this software is based on the Mac OS X operating system, any help would be great as I am starting to tear my hair out now
Thanks

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
