Getting Pivot table error while grouping " Cannot group this Selection"

Hi Team

I have Master data in other tab where i have Emp number , candidate name, DOJ and Location. I am trying to make a Pivot Report to see the joiners yearly wise but i am getting error " Cannot group this Selection"

I guess that you are trying to group by DOJ. if so, it usually happens when DOJ has non dates entries and / or blank cells. Check your data and fix it. once fixed, PT should be able to group by DOJ.
