I have an excel (xlsx) which has some wrap text format in one column. I have tried to take off auto "text wrapping" by setting row heights and by formatting cells to text before paste. etc. (anything i could find online). It seems that it always goes back to wrap text so how can i get rid of it? I tried to save this excel as text or csv and got away from it but the dataset got broke and some of the information in cell was put to another cell below. The problem is simply this: when i have a cell with text wrap format in it, i cant take it away; when i take it away it comes back when i click that cell. Any help would be great!

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
My first thought in reading your post was: Have you gone into your Format Cells, Alignment, Text Control, and de-selected the check-box for Wrap text? If you haven't done this, the cell will stay with the formatting set for it until you change the setting. You can probably find this Format Cells... menu when you right-click in the cell in question.
