I have a table of data that contains purchases and sell values of currency. Both the sell and the purchased value is on one row in the table as it is one transaction. For accounting reasons i wish to take the data from one row and make it to two rows in an other table. I used the =IFERROR("SELLCOLUMN";"BOUGHTColumn"´) That way when i reach the end of the sell column it could go over to the bought column. The problem is that when i reach the end of sell column and move over to the bought column im still on the row thats just below were the data ends. I wish to restart from the top. I was thinking that i could use the total number of rows somehow but i cant figure out how.

Any ideas how i can solve this?

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Welcome to the MrExcel board!

It is difficult to tell exactly what you have, where it is and what results you want and where they should be.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data (and expected results) that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a “Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.
