Hello,

I have cut and pasted my phone bills from 2009 and 2010 into a spreadsheet only to find that the year is automatically recognized by Excell (2007) as 2011. Is there a quick and clean way to change the year to the correct year, and preserve the time stamp?

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
try formatting the destination cells as Text before pasting, then do a text-to-columns where you can define how dates are interpreted.

Just a thought...

If Excel convets the date to 5/25 to 5/25/2011, after it's been converted how do you know what year it's really supposed to be?

Is it 5/25/2009 or 5/25/2010?

I guess you could compare the dates to the original bank document.

If you could import just one year at a time then you could use Edit>Replace to change the year numbers.
