Hi

I have two tabs in a spreadsheet.

In Sheet1, I have a number in a cell rounded to two d.p. eg 150.00 in cell A1

In Sheet 2, I have a list of numbers which have been rounded up to 2d.p. using the roundup (cell destination, 2 - for number of decimal places) formula.

Eg let's say that cells A1, A2 and A3 have the values 50.00, 50.01 and 50.00, respectively.

So the sum of the cells is 150.01 instead of 150.00. And let's assume that sum is in A4 in Sheet 2.

Is there a way to use the goal seek function on a range of data, so that it changes the value of the cells in the range A1:A3 in Sheet 2, so that they match the sum of 150.00 in A1 in Sheet 1?

Sometimes the data will be larger eg 10 cells will need to add up to a certain total.

Please let me know if you'd like me to clairfy the question further.

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
