Goal Seek With Cell Reference

Hello,

I am trying to use goal seek with the "to value" field as a cell reference. I am trying to set cell J12 to value of 1070000 by changing cell b7, but I want 1070000 to be a cell reference, rather than a manual input. Is there a way to change this?

You can with a macro and add a button. I often setup a subtraction to reference so that my to value is always zero. For example macro:
Sub mygoalseek()
seekvalue = Range("A5").Value
Range("B5").GoalSeek Goal:=seekvalue, ChangingCell:=Range("B4")
End Sub

What is your specific subtraction formula? And what cell is your subtraction in? I'm trying to read your VBA code.

Sorry, poorly worded. The example macro does not require the subtraction portion, two different methods.
No macro, keyboard shortcut Alt+T, then G. Add a subtraction of End - Desired End. Instead of typing a long number (put it in desired end) just type 0.

Good for reducing keystrokes and NOT requiring a macro enabled file.

For macro, Goal seek records as a macro fairly well, then add the seekvalue= piece to it once you decide where it goes.
