Hello!
I have an excel spreadsheet I'd like to post to Google Docs. It has one worksheet which serves as a summary of data and uses the SUMIFS function, which does not work in Google Docs. On that tab, I need to do summing based on multiple criteria.
I need to post and edit the document on Google Docs, but occasionally download it back into Excel. Other users may do this as well.
I have tried changing to SUMPRODUCT, which does work in both settings, but makes the workbook unacceptably slow.
I tried array formulas in Excel (CSE), but when I uploaded the file to Google Docs, they do NOT automatically convert to ArrayFormula.
I added a separate summary worksheet on the workbook for Google Docs using the SUM(FILTER... function and kept the summary worksheet using SUMIFS, thinking one of the summary tabs would work in Excel and the other in Google Docs. It uploaded to Google Docs just fine, and the SUM(FILTER...worked just fine, but when I downloaded the file back into Excel, I get the #NAME error on the SUMIFS functions, even though they are correct. I removed Compatibility Mode, tried copying/pasting them, all to no avail.
Any advice welcome. I'm only minimally conversant in Excel functions.
