Graph with dates on X axis

Hello all,
Trying to create a graph and I want just the dates on the bottom axis. But i have a different number of data points per month and the graph keeps bunching all data up.

I just want to know how to do a simple line graph please like below.

If you have the actual dates (month-day-year) as opposed to just the year and month that you've shown, put these dates into a single column, and your values in the next column, and make a line chart.
