Hi all, I am needing cell I31 to look at cell G28 and see if it is greater than 80 but less than 86 and if so by how many. I have been racking my brain trying to figure this one out and any help would be greatly appreciated. Capture0.PNG

Maybe this is what you want
Excel Formula:
=IF(AND(G28>=80,G28<=86),G28,IF(G28>86,G28-86,""))
failing that please give a number of example of what you want.

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
that worked!!! thank you Joe4! So this will only calculate if anything that is in cell G28 is between 80-86 and if below 80 it will not and if over 86 it will not correct?

1. If it is below 80, it will return nothing.
2. If it is between 80 and 86, it will return the value - 80.
3. If it is over 86, it will return 6 (86-80).

If that is not what you want, then please explain your original example to us, telling us EXACTLY what it should be returning.
Note in that example, G28 is 93.
